Fever

Well Abby got her first fever this week. It was so sad and a little scary for Mommy. She is the best sick baby though. In the midst of a 102 fever, she was eating great and even giving her Mommy one of her first smiles. The fever arrived early Tuesday morning and of course we went to the doctor. After a couple of tests, the prognosis is a virus. Of course, a virus. Isn't that just a term for "we don't know exactly what's wrong with your child"? But somehow when it comes from a doctor it makes me feel better. At any rate, she seems to be healed from this "virus". Thanks to the powerful prayers of some dear loved ones, Abby has been fever-free since 11:00pm last night. Woohoo! She has been great today and even slept 6 hours last night. May I just remind you that she is only 8 weeks old. Yes, she is sleeping through the night. I know, we are so blessed.
